About the DIY Committee Guide

Whether you are a Trustee or a member of a management committee/board or working to support management committees, you will find this site full of useful resources.

This site was originally developed in 2005 by the Volunteer Development Agency (now Volunteer Now) in partnership with 14 other organisations.

Now restructured, the DIY Committee Guide provides clear support for groups implementing the Code of Good Governance. The new site structure follows the 5 principles of the Code. This work has been carried out in partnership with the Developing Governance Group.
