The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland have updated their registration tutorial and annual monitoring return tutorial videos.

The registration video will guide you through the online application form, letting you know what to expect and what to have ready before you begin.  The tutorial is one of a range of guidance and support tools, which are aimed at supporting organisations in applying for charity registration.  Other resources, some of which are referred to in the video tutorial, are available in the Registration support section of the website.

The annual monitoring return (AMR) video will guide you through the online AMR.  The first 5 mins provides a checklist of what documents and information are required and how to attach them.  There is also information about how to begin your AMR and how the status of your charity will appear on the register when you submit your AMR.  You can watch the whole video, which lasts 28 minutes, or you can watch the parts which are most useful to your charity or jump to the parts that are most relevant to your charity.  A table will show the timing on the video where each section begins.  Other resources, some of which are referred to in this tutorial, are available in the Annual Reporting support section of the Commission’s website.
